SC anchovy or mackerel

Thinking of heading to SC to pick up some anchovy or mackerel this weekend, has anyone had luck fishing or netting from the pier recently?

Last time I was there a couple of weeks ago, the anchovies were thick outside the harbor and down the kelp beds. They were a better size than the ones at Pacifica too. I also caught two micro-macks about 5"-6" long. Would like to target larger mackeral. Good luck.

I was there last weekend with the kids. Between the 3 of us, we got over 300 anchovies from the wharf. It was a fun time. Hope you get some!
