hogan evening report

I finally hit the water last night. Managed a nice 7 or 8lb catfish. I thought I had a decent striper at first.  Whole chovie bagged the beast. I didn't have to spend much gaf on this trip!

let me guess...you couldn't wake up early enough to go fishing so you decided to fish at night instead

Had a car to fix! But yea I slept in too.  This time of year its best to night fish as its too hot otherwise. The water was 80 degrees surface temp!

Have you gone fishing in Lake Camanche?.. ( I know you live closed there ) We Camp there last weekend and caught 6 channel catfish..very good sized..
