Salmon fishing video from another planet. Seriously, I have so many questions. The end is cool and it kinda all makes sense?

what the literal F?

I mean, at first, I was totally there, selling all my possessions, getting divorced, and homesteading somewhere up North North.

then

then

then, he released the fish, and suddenly most of it made no sense at all. Like, why 10 thousand rods, why not one? The tailer does look pretty cool, though he botched a couple landings so...maybe not, and I'm guessing they have barbed hooks up there, so.....

after he caught the fish, I expected that he'd take it back, meticulously clean it, smoke it, then store it with hundreds he'd already caught to get him through the long cold winter.  but, na, he just released it, drove to the nearest MikkyD's or Tim Hortons.

Seems like this guy has found full zen.  No urgency, just playing around in a peaceful setting with little worry.
Thanks for the link.  Totally cool!
