New Member Intro

Hey Everyone,

My name is Billy. I have been fishing out of Point Arena my entire life. Somehow I had never heard of this forum until recently, and signed up as soon as I did. I'd like to one day organize a kayak fishing tournament out of Arena Cove. I grew up working here on my Dad’s small commercial salmon boat and being closely tied to the community could be the difference maker in getting a tournament to happen successfully. Well I'm glad to be a part of this group and hope I can get to know you all.

The photos are of a lingcod double header, both netted at once, and a gray whale diving down while my friend was just setting the hook on a 20lb salmon.

Stellar intro there Billy!  Having never fished that part of the coast I'm down for a good reason to venture up there and see what it's about!  Look forward to hearing your reports and intel on fishing in your area.
