Considering rod tripping to Mendo Coast for a 4th of July weekend.
Havent visited area in many yrs, and seems loke rt combo of forest coast historical interest wineries n quaint restaurants.

Any suggestions about 4th festivities in the area?

Pt Arena Fireworks look really interesting. Do ppl just stop atop the bridge and watch, or park along the bluffs?  I want to see it but not if it means Ill have to manage the campground exfil bottleneck

When you say bridge - I believe you must be referring to Fort Bragg, not Point Arena. I have worked/shot shows in both locations over the years. Point Arena is a much more up-close experience and preferred IMO. Saturday the 2nd is Point Arena, the 4th is in Fort Bragg.

Stopping/parking on the bridge is prohibited. Either location will have traffic egress issues following the show. I can PM some more info on PA if you like, I will be working the show.

I believe there’s a salmon festival in ft Bragg over the weekend of the 4th.
Always plenty of good food and live music.
Have fun, and be safe.
