Really want to give a first hand conditions report more than anything.
Went rock fishing up along Norther parts of Salt Point from shore.
Weather wind was less than 6mph. 5 ft swell at 7 seconds apart or so
With some smaller chop mixed in no white capping though.
Not too hot not too cold just right.  I think if i was in a kayak defineatetly
Feel a bit beat up at the end.

It took a while but i bagged a super nice brown rock fish fed mom and i.
Caught him on a hi Lo rig with 1oz. Sinker using cut squid.
Okuma 12 ft. Rod medium action. Penn fierce long cast spool.

And i caught a baby Spring Ling.  Used a green pumpkin swim bait.
Scented with squid flavored pro cure super gel .
Using a medium fast retrieve.  That was the two catches of the day trip.

Saw some deer, waved at the whales fed a raven caught a couple
Fish.  Great day trip.

Sounds like fun! Shore fishing for in the rocks can be a real gear eater.

Shore fishing can and will chew up quite a bit of gear.
Thats why i dont run much over 1 Oz. On a medium
Actioned 12 ft rod.  Conditions were perfect for it on
Wednesday tiny bit rough for the swim bait but it all
Worked in the end.
