It is a bit windy here in San Jose but loaded the kayak and planning on trying my luck at ARW for hali. Should be there around dawn and leave before the wind picks up.
Will be on Ch69, hoping to see a few of you out there...

I'll be there brother I'm planning the same thing, that tide is about a 6-7 hr long stretch til the 2pm hightide so less water movement means clear water which should mean visible bait, which should mean doormats? My bait is already brining. I'll be 69 as well.

Good luck to Frenchy and friend(s). Hopefully, I'll finally have something worthwhile to report from the Monterey Bay tomorrow..

My report is going to be quick; no action for me….

Quite a few kayaks on the water. Went the the 2nd wall, back South and then a little spot I like on the first wall but nothing for me.

Saw a kayak catching a shaker in front of me, talked to a few others including a boater at the ramp and it sounds like it was a slow day.

Started to hear some action when I started to head back but with my back it gets harder to stay more than 3h on the water.

Anyway it was a good day in the water even if I didn’t even get a bite ;-)

The action on shakers was good today on 5/4. Lots of bites. I got 4 shakers to 21.5". I saw 1 legal landed by a PB.
