intro: FL man who misses fishing

Been in the Bay Area (oakland) for 6 years after moving from FL and have only been fishing twice since. Grew up fishing on motor boats on the East Coast of FL (bottom fishing and trolling). I'm dying to get back on the water.

In today’s news, a Florida man attempted to rope an alligator and waterski behind it………blah blah blah…..and in conclusion the man’s leg had to be amputated but dr’s were able to replace it with the gators tail.

Apparently he's run-off to Oakland and trying his hand at fishing. 

Bay Area born and raised but have been married to a FLA gal for 17years and we go visit her Dad 1-2 times a year. Love my home waters, but hard to beat FLA fishing for variety and access.
