I took some hints from an existing design and customized a 3d print for my own dimensions and bulb size.

My kayak holds 2 nocqua batteries hanging from a holder in the rear hatch of my revo 13. The power is distributed by a FPV Power distribution block which has a remote that I can use to toggle on/off some ports on it.
I decided to create a 12v kayak safety light since I couldn't get myself to pay 200 for the berleypro version (all others are 2 AA battery powered) and attached it to the distribution block so I could turn it on or off.
Simple design although it took some time to get the dimensions right.

Bill of materials
* 8.95 + 5 shipping for the 360 led bulb with 550 lumens.
* $2 for the short 1.25 inch plexiglass tube from Tap Plastics
* $16 for the 2 18inch carbon fiber camera rods
* 3d printing filament for the holder - negligible value
* $2 for the bottom 1/4" female socket

I did attach a T mounting screw to the bottom of the rod to mount it to a mighty mount track that I'll be adding to the back of the kayak.

If anyone wants the stl file, let me know and I can share.
