Lots of guys on here like these. Do you throw the ‘silent’ or rattling? What colors do you like best?

My brother is a pretty serious bass fishermen in the midwest and here's what he says when I asked him your questions (btw, Kaleb is his son, who fishes a lot too)...

"I throw both kinds. In my opinion the rattle does not matter since the lure makes a lot of noise already. I really doubt the rattle is even heard. The colors we mostly use successfully are loon (black), and bone (yellow). I’ve also done well with perch (for smallmouths) and t1000 (for largemouth). I like 3 1/2 inch size for smallmouth, and 4 3/8 for largemouth.

According to Kaleb, I catch so many fish on them, because it’s all I use. I will admit, once we hit May, I always try them, but it’s not all I use. "
I don't like stuff that sucks.

Any color as long as it is black. Both the smaller silent one and the larger one with the rattle, but I don’t think the rattle matters.

I like the perch color cause its kinda bluegilly and 10 million other guys throw black. I like the rattles when I'm using it as a twitch bait, or deadsticking around heavy cover. I like the no-rattle when I'm throwing a straight, or stop n go, retrieve.....cause 10 million other guys are throwing the standard rattling version  doing the same thing.  I also like the 130 size cause size matters.
