Someone has got to know the answer to this. Exactly what type of baitfish do we have  off the sf/lm/hmb coast.  I know anchovies but are they blue, green, black or? And what other types? Thanks!

Thats to broad a question to answer easily. There are so many labeled baitfish. Any fish that will fit in another ones mouth can be bait if legal. What do you want to catch?

Nothing specific actually. I was curious as to what gets eaten by stripers, hali, and kelp bass. Trying to match up some Fish Traps by colors.  Know what worked down south in San Diego, but seems to be a whole different world up here in the cold water.

Fish traps or Swim Baits....start out with blue, green or black with a lot of silver or gold.  Browns are good if they are feeding on rockcod fish.  And a little red color or org. means it is bleeding...always a plus.  Dark colors on dark days and bright colors on sunny days.
