I just got a new fishing pole. What better way to break it in than fishing for albacore?
Thing is, i don't really know who to call.  I'm in SF and don't want to go all the way to Monterey and besides, the Atun is pricey.
Does anyone know of a good charter near SF or HMB in the $200 range?  I hear the fishing is pretty good right now, and my schedule is pretty flexible (No WAF to worry about)

thx, Baru

I've looked into it a bit, and it looks like $300 to go on a charter/party boat. I'd go to the Coastside Fishing Club and check out the Hitch Hiker section, or post there that you want to go with someone and chip in for gas/expenses. It would probably be a lot cheaper than paying for a party boat.
May the fish be mighty and the seas be meek...
