King Tides dates are: December 4 and 5, 2021 and January 1, 2, and 3, 2022!

Good time to go clamming, poke poling, tide pool exploration with the family, etc.  Anyone have plans?

Thanks for the heads up Al  :smt006

I've been wanting to return to Tomales for another attempt at finding monstrous clams. Maybe will do that if i can get things line up.

The December dates seem to be a little late in the day. Can you clam past sunset?

I've always been bummed about that CA rule. I have gone night clamming in OR and is a lot of fun. The quiet and darkness give a very different experience.

What's the spirit of that reg? Prevent poaching?

I think it would be harder to regulate for example people digging more than their limit and upgrading their catch.
