I am the Legoman (goo goo g'joob), but our usual place (Tait Ave in Los Gatos) does not seem to be having its usual Halloween, so just staying home this year...

We're out out in the country so there are never any trick-or-treaters on our street. So instead of handing out candy, we ate candy, watched the new Halloween movie and carved a few pumpkins.

Those pumpkins are amazing!

We set up a driveway haunt, the theme this year was "Sailing to Valhalla"
we even had a few surprise neighbors join the horde!

I heard that from several people yesterday.
We’re old enough now that we can see the changes in the neighborhoods as kids grow up.
Funny thing is that at our house we had our first trick or treat ‘era ever, and we gave out 3 lbs. one car stopped and gave the assembled horde fresh cookies from the oven!
After the Braemoore neighborhood burned, now all the area kids go to the Westdale neighborhood so they mostly roll right past us, one way or another.
I had a smoke machine in the ship's bow so the dragon breathed fake fire and the kids went nuts for it.
Good times!

Spent Halloween in Sparks Nevada with our children and grandchildren celebrating my 40th wedding anniversary.
It was like the halloweens of old lots of trick or treaters. Quite refreshing.

Traditionally, my neighborhood goes all out on Halloween and kids come from all over to trick or treat here. Fortunately, this year things were back to normal. Probably had over 500 kids come by. Went through an enormous amount of candy. And I went fishing at Pigeon Point in the morning so it was an awesome day.

Happy belated Halloween!
Took my son to GG park for coffee and riding the scooter.
He loved trick or treating at our neighborhood.
The candy witch took most of his candy when he slept.
What a bummer!
