Hey Guys,
Just got a fishfinder. Any ideas on a battery? Lightweight, re-chargeable maybe?, Good.
Would appreciate your expertise.
Thank You

yo bloodbath, its good to see you're still kickin around down there. i highly reccomend the rechargeable 10aa battery system. it is light and efficient. the article "new school power supply" spells it out quite nicely. now here is the problem.  a lot of the parts can be hard to find ie: ten battery holder, wire seals etc. furthermore if  the transducer isn't installed just right, it will never work right. i took mine to that dude scwafish(sean) at the great white kayak company. he has  all those parts and knows his shit. he did the installation of my hummigbird. it was inexpensive,hassle-free and it works beutifully. i have fished with several guys who spent alot of time doing their own installation only to not have it work right or not work at all.  good luck and get your ass up here and lets go fishin.

Is the 2wire/pin tow harness compatible with a 1amp fuse?
That's what my fishfinder requires.
