Tomalas Scratched!!! Bodega Harbor Instead?

Well, Got a Heads up that Hog Island out @ Tomalas would be fast moving tide city...

 Thanks Scawfish , for the heads up.... I've still got a problem though....

 My Brother in-law and his family are staying out @ Point Reyes and they really want to try

 KayaKfishing.....So, I'm thinking of Heading over to Doran and poking around the harbor for anything that

will bite...I've heard of a few Holes out there....Maybe if it's nice , jump out past the jetties and bounce the beach,

I heard there was no wind out there today.....

 My hope is the tide won't screw that up as much as Tomalas bay.....

I've got a season pass, so I'm going to launch @ the boat ramp in the park....$5 bucks I think...

 I was talking to Charter captain and he said it's possible to get Hali's in the bay itself....

 That would be great, butt I'm just looking to get these guys on any action, a BIG Lepord or Ray would do the

trick.... I've heard of Hali's being caught off the beach west of the jetty ............ Danglin

What are you doing for bait?

Bringing squid/dead anchovies, should be able to make bait,

but it would be a first for me in the Bay Area

 Bringing size 14 sabiki's, should do the trick, have extra if ya need em......

 I used to go out in a PB out of Sebastopol, and on the way in, we would always stop outside the jetties

 and bounce dead anchoves, never personaly had any luck, but he said he has caught plenty doing this....

I am not sure what day or when you guys are going?....I might join you guys.

Sorry to leave you hanging Danglin. I slept in until 0800 hours. I decided to wax my truck today instead. Maybe I'll try for tomorrow.
