Thursday morning Mendo

Sitting on the water waiting by 6:15. First big bust at 6:45, they were all but hitting the side of the boat. That's not saying they hit my flies though. I got some near perfect casts out into the frenzy and didn't get touched. A topwater would have gotten smashed.
My buddie's first time in a yak and he was fired up to see such a thing.
No one else around. The fish quit by 7:30. Got off the water and had breakfast.

DAMN!  You would think anything thrown into the fire will get burnt.  Sounds like you'll be tossing the top'ers on the next trip.
What do you do with yourself and all that "inbetween time?"

  I hate you!  I'm sitting here in a cube in an office,in Artificial light, your typing about sitting on some nasty water with big, ugly fish jumping all around!    it's wrong!
   Now I have to go find some pictures of a lake, and start zoning to get my mind out of this drewery cube!
