Was curious if by adding pro-cure to my hoochie consider it as bait, and therefore would need to use circle hooks for salmon?  I guess while trolling that doesn't seem to apply, but still curious what a warden would say if I wasn't underway and had a line in the water.

I believe by DFW standards, scent is considered bait.  Pretty lame IMO.  And you're right, if not trolling and you were mooching a scented lure without circle hooks, you would be in violation.

Yeah, kinda lame, but I can understand their reasons.

Get some of that thick salmon gel sent that comes in a small bottle and put it on your flasher/dodger. Your 11” board isn’t going to get bit by a salmon. Maybe a sharks but that’s a whole different issue lol but you won’t be sitting still with a scented hook. But still would be a good idea to keep your self moving even if it’s .5 mph if you have a line in the water with out a circle hook.

This is the stuff that I have always used. It stays on ur stuff for ever! I use dawn soap on my flashers when I get home to get that stuff off. Hope it helps you get more fish!

Why wouldn’t be? I don’t use any for bottom fish and don’t feel there’s a need for it but there isn’t any reason why you couldn’t.
