Toss-up… Bodega OR Tomales tomorrow?

Sorry to miss you Jewli0n. Woke up this morning and couldn't pass up those nice looking butt tides at Tomales. It was all for zip, zilch, nada. Sounded like another slow day day at Tomales from people I talked to. Hope you had better luck at Bodega.

We went to Bodega!

Hit Tomales yesterday.  Plenty of anchovies but no bites... not even a shaker.  Im down to fishing bodega bay in the near future if anyone is game to try for some salmon.

I’m planning on going back out to Doran on the 29th if weather and swell is good. Get limits of rockcod/lings then troll around for salmon. Hopefully by then they will be back in closer to shore! I’ll post an invite a few days before.

if u want guaranteed fish do sonoma coast, if u want to be in a stack of 40 boats do tomales, if u want good chance at hali do paradise or sausalito, if you want a shot at salmon hali and rockfish do bodega.

a bit swelly for rf tmrw imo. i can barely stand boaters pulling up on me in tomales on a weekday i completely swore off of weekends there last year b4 i lost my mind. im 100% sure there are fish to be caught at paradise if u know what ur doing. bodega bite slow and lots of jellys but also chance for rf and hali if need fish. marin coast muir rocky stinson fished slow today but is on off this year u never know.
