I lost my DIY gaff on the water somewhere around SC7. Given the wind and swell direction, I'm guessing it'll end up stuck in the kelp near Pleasure Point. Anyways, of you see a gaff with a PVC handle and orange pool noodle wrapped around the handle, let me know.

It would float hook-side down, so from above, it probably looks like something that should be attached to a crab pot.
