Met Nuggy on Father's day around 8am at Coast Guard pier and paddled to the Halibut ground to give it a try without takers.   Went over the yellow buoy for RF and we had fun catching Coppers and Golfers.  Called it a day when the fan started to blow.  It's so good to be OTW.

Nice, I'm planning on going this Wednesday for the first time. Are the kelp beds by the hotels productive? I was thinking of heading there for RF/lingcod and then heading out to the open water for halibut.

I saw small patches here and there but.not much around the hotel area.  Hopefully it will make a full recovery soon.
