Greetings from east bay

Hi guys,
I just moved up to the east bay a few months ago and picked up a fishing kayak as well (my first)

I was told this is the place to get all the info for NorCal kayak fishing hence the name 

I’m out here in Antioch near the delta kinda overwhelmed on where to start ha

Hoping to learn from all you guys on here and maybe see you on the water

Fiddle around at Big Break on the Antioch side, and you can try Sherman Lake on the other side of the bridge. Both spots hold black bass and stripers when they're in the delta.

Keep an eye out for boat wakes and you'll be fine.

Thanks guys! I didn’t know if there would be black bass that far out towards the bay I feel like there’s so much water to explore and not enough free days  unfortunately sigh…

Hey, you're in sturgeon country too, my only tip would be to never underestimate the current in those sloughs, even in the big water they flow surprisingly fast.
