Hi Yakers:

Another great day on the water. Flat and no wind till around 1:00 PM when, the Swell picked up. My live Anchovy was hit hard but, I missed my chance at a WSB.They are on top. A huge school is crusing between the kelp Beds and the Buoy. The school pass right under my Yak while I was trying to make Bait.  I think my white Buzz Bomb attracted the Greenbacks and, the school of WBS were right behind.
Bayside Marine  is full of chatter about a 52Lb. WBS from Cap. I would go again this weekend but,  I have wetsuit rash from the long paddle.

                                                                                                                Good Luck
                                                                                                                Ernie

How do you fish for a WSB?   I'd probably release any I caught, but from the sound of it, I'm not going to catch one by dumb luck.

tom, I am not an expert by any stretch for WSB, but what I've gathered is flyline live bait, or cast swimbaits.

good luck!!
