Tips To Save Water At Home

Water is precious, and many people are living in drought-stricken areas. We must save water, even if we are not among them. Saving water means saving lives, saving our planet, and saving money on your water bill. Every one of us can start right now, at our own homes. AS the saying goes: sow a deed, reap a habit; sow a habit, reap a result. Read the following tips to find out what you can do and share with family members and others:

1) Turn off the tap. While you are brushing teeth or washing your hands, don't let the water pour down the drain uselessly. Only open the tap when you need to wet the brush or your hands and open it again when rinsing.

2) Place a shower bucket under the faucet. This bucket can be used to contain clean water in case of a water system that is broken. Besides, you can use it to contain any kind of water that has been used once and reuse it for flushing the toilet or watering plants.

3) Choose efficient fixtures. You had better choose to buy aerated shower heads and a Water Sense-rated dishwasher and washing machine. If it's not what you bought from the beginning, you can buy them again. Toilets also consume a lot of water so, it they need to have low flow. Day by day, they save you litres of water.

4) Wash only full loads in the washing machine and dishwasher. A half load or a full load requires the same amount of water. Therefore, don't rush to wash clothes or dishes until you have full loads.

5) Fix the dripping taps and leaking hoses. Just a small crack or loose tap can cause a big loss in water. Fix them as soon as possible.

6) Install more water buckets to collect water directly from the rain or to your drainpipe. You can use it to water plants, clean the yard, or wash your car.

7) Install a cistern displacement device in your toilet cistern to save a flush. You can get one of these from your water provider.

8) Don't use the toilet to flush a cigarette butt or a bit of trash. The toilet doesn't know what it is flushing, so it will use a big volume of water just to make that small piece of trash disappear. It's too wasteful.

9) Take shorter showers as much as you can by reducing the number of times of shower or reducing the period of time for showering.

10) Don't let the water run to cool it down for drinking; it's too wasteful. You can store drinking water in a safe bottle in your refrigerator.

These are the ten most useful and easy-to-follow tips to save water and save money as well. You can start with the easiest one for you and then keep going with other tips. Don’t forget to share with your family members to conserve water together. The equipment and tools mentioned above are available on the Amazon products list now; just go on to the site if you want to buy them to save more water for your home. Amazon is a place where you can find good product review on TheKingLive  and real product reviews. Surely you will see a decrease in your water bill next month.

Craigslist for your area is worth watching.  Someone who bought all the gear and then didn't pursue the sport is an ideal seller.

Once you have 10 posts here you can see the classified section and the members only fishing reports.

Best of luck~

Welcome James! I’ll also recommend the OfferUp app. I’ve been finding some pretty good deals on there, not everyone who posts on OfferUp posts on Craigslist so you might find luck in checking both. Pretty good user interface that lets you set notifications for new stuff being posted that meets your criteria. Good luck!
