On Sunday, April 18th, I decided to leave the kayak at home and hit the Delta with my buddy Captain Steve on his boat.  We ventured out around the west side by the power lines.  Around 7:30am my deep diver went a little deeper and erratic.  I knew this wasn't more vegetation.  A little while later I had this 34" and 18 lb. old guy on the deck.  It's good to know that there are still some big boys out there still.  After a quick photo-op he was released to continue enjoying his life.  Other than that, a pretty quiet day on the Delta.
