My iPhone 5 suddenly got super-flakey, so I bought an iPhone 12 mini today. I plan to take it along when fishing.

It's sufficiently water resistant (IP68), so I don't need a waterproof case, but I do want to be able to attach a lanyard, so I think I'll need some kind of case. Does anybody have any recommendations? The only case I can find that has a lanyard is this one:

It looks like a reasonable option, but I'm wondering if there might be something better.
I don't like stuff that sucks.

I agree it is sufficiently waterproof, but don’t you worry about what the  salt will do once it gets inside the holes for the mic/speaker/connector?

That's a good question. According to this, it's even more waterproof than advertised,

So I'm thinking that a quick freshwater rinse after each outing should do the trick.
