So a powerboater pulled this beast out of the bay this week. The small one for reference is 25”. Said it weighed 53.8 lbs after bleeding. What a slab.

South Bay in the area of Candle Stick, and ships is what I heard. Some fair sized ones being picked up around ARW too. South still seems the most productive these days.

The discussion around this fish....among charter captains that have fished these waters for decades taking thousands of clients, this one might be one of three of such size that folks can remember. Really an amazing catch, fish of a lifetime! Also, you never know what you’re gonna catch out there! You never know until you go!!
