What’s the best way to go about securing my kill bag to the front of the kayak? Thinking of ordering a reliable fish bag and don’t want it to slide off my revo.

I built a pvc frame and and clip the front to the front handle and plug other side into the sail hole

Which size bag?  Looks like large. Do you have the installed pic from front and side?

Yeah I like the large and I can take pictures tomorrow for the front and side.

Some install multiple pad eyes to strap the cooler but I dont like drilling multiple holes for that  :smt003

I have an outback and debated this question too. I just bought some carabiners and connected 1 to the front pad eye used to pull the boat and 2 to the bungees on the front hatch. It stays secure especially with some ice and fish in there and it floats works for me.

It's not so easy with the Revo with the curve shape. The OB is almost flat in front.

Nice solution Jason - it looks like it will ride pretty stable and secure.

I don't like having to scoot forward on my Revo with gear on the gunwales (rod holder, FF and downrigger during salmon season) so I went with one of the taco style kill bags. It sits like a backrest cross wise between my seat back and crate. It's within easy reach, hasn't fallen off yet in a few years of use, and even if it did fall off it floats :-)

Cheers,
Brad

I have a revo, I put the reliable bag behind me and strap it with the rear bungee straps.   I prefer it behind me as I think it balances the kayak better and I do use the front hatch for storage.

+1 I do the same. I use small S clips. Very secure

I've done paracord and carabiners on a revo, connected to front handle and front hatch bungies. I dont recommend it, it's not secure enough. It did hold when i got rolled once, but there are definitely better options out there, including the pvc idea - that seems ideal.
