Clear Lake weekend

I'm free to go this weekend, and the weather looks good for bassin' and crappin', (crappie). I like the state park but wonder if it's too hard to fish due to low water. Any suggestions? I'd be happy just catching crappie!

Have you tried library park on lakeport side? I shored fish from there and there is a boat launch.

Crappin 

A lot of launches are closed, but that is good for us kayakers since most still have enough for us. I don’t have info for you on the state park though. I just renewed my parks pass and haven’t been yet.

I was in Clear lake by the state park a few weeks ago and that creek where the crappies where usually spawning was really shallow, as in 1-2ft deep only

I might a little nervous dealing with all the bass boat tournament idiots.

Yes lake level is down, not enough water coming in per my source
I have been tracking water temp and it has been 44-50 the last 2 weeks
with weather set to rise Apr 1 water temps should rise up to
So my trip is Apr 4-5
