No more gluing your transducer in-hull or dangling it over the side. Not sure if it will support side scan, but this pretty much eliminates interference and drag issues.

Damn. Very cool. Wish they had that when they built mine. Doesn't look like you can retrofit. I wonder if that's a standard on all new boats they build?

More detailed demo from Brett at the factory. You could even mount a sidescan transducer on top of the cover plate. Pretty slick system.
