Elk winner JTF makes WON cover / GWS column

John Mason and his tournament-winning 16.5-lb lingcod made the inside front cover of this week's Western Outdoor News. It is the northern edition, dated Aug 10.

And try to ignore the shark hovering by the words "Danger Below" in lurid blood-red type on the upper right corner of the outside cover. That was the editor's doing, not mine. Now, if you have any disagreements with my column titled 'The Tax Man Cometh' - that's different. Let me have it.

The tax man came, and the audit wasn't that painful.

It was pretty funny... we were standing around shootin the bull when PAL asked  what JTF's name is.  We were like... uh... John... uh... John... uh... John... The... Fisherman?
