You and Max should maybe come up to the Cove this summer to hang out for a few days or more.  We can surf and salmon troll, and maybe we can hitch a ride up to Big Flat.

How’s the surf up there? Outside the jaws at humboldt bay is where my uncle intro’ed me to salt water adrenaline salmon fishing in a little boat in 20-25’ swell, I was maybe 8 It was gorgeous and rang some serious bells for me that never stopped ringing

Just saw the footage and wow...looked like a lot of award winners right there!  All that for mussels??     

The last few mega low tides have been mid-afternoon on weekends.  That poor reef has gotten hammered by thousands of people.  The mussel & urchin population has been decimated.  I’m glad everyone is okay, but it’s nice to see the reef & ocean give a little payback.

Where do they launch there? And how much weight should I use keep it on the bottom?

Grew up surfing down south.  I really miss the waves!
