Shark Shield metal shavings?

I've been noticing these black "shavings" or little strands fallout from my shark shield every time I go out. I am wondering if anyone has experienced this and if its normal. They're short like 1/4" or less. I never really get the chance to really inspect them closely. I do rinse my SS thoroughly after each trip. Any idea if its a valid concern?

Are you talking about the black mesh wrap around the cord beginning to deteriorate?

That’s what I though they were given the color. Just weird seeing a lot of it, like beard trimmings

Probably just treat and condition the rubber.... salt water is a pain in the arse.

I’m more into the industrial grade stuff that’ll probably get u high using it.

You're taking about herb. This dude cleans everything thoroughly. I'm sure he has a drum full of 303. He might be using for other things too
