met up with my buddy for a few days fishing on his boat in warm water.  Fished three days all off Cervalo Is.
SHort:
Day 1: 4 dodo (up to about 25#), 3 pargo, 2 yft (litlte footballs)
day 2: OH MY GOD.  6 striped marlin landed (9 hooked, 13 in spread), 4 dodos, 2 YFT
day 3: trolled for wahoo, ended up in wfo bite for BIG bonito, skippies, with some YFT spread in- 3 dodo, and a YFT (and a bunch of football bonito)

Long:
Day 1: not particularly much to say- saw some marlin, landed some dorado, lost a bunch, got some nice pargo on live bait
day 2:  HOLY CRAP...
started late due to weather report- which turned out to be only partially right.  picked bait, and lines in water by 8:30ish. First marlin about 15 min later. Land him, troll toward island- bang fish on! bang- double!  Excellent we're in TUNA!!! No wait, not tuna - its a double on marlin!  Warren clears rods while john and i do the dosie-do.  Last line coming and warren's hooked up! another marlin eats the clone 10 feet back on the retrieve. Triple on marlin!  ok, there's three of us-- now what?  Luckily (?) warren drops his fish...land and release john's then mine's next.
And so it goes for rest of day- we had another triple on marlin. only one landed.  crossed lines, over under, around the boat- insanity.
At one point i got a nice marlin- thing is shreading out line, john and warren clearing lines- Dorado at the boat!  they pick up live bait sticks- and - DOUBLE on Dodos!  knock the boat out of gear.  I'm hanging on watching my fish strip into the backing- john's clearing the remainder of lines reeling while the rods are in the holders (while fighthing his dodo), i'm stowing the rods with one hand (while dealing with a pissed stripey)...warren does a nice job solo gaffing his dodo, then helps john....i'm still whining and dealing with 300+yds out...we end up landing all three fish.
at about 1 or so, we were slowly heading back when we saw more jumpers- picked up another marlin from that round (and almost another double as one was in hte pattern slashing- just didnt get hooked)
after that one, weather was turning ugly windy...we decided that we were all beat and headed in.
I ended up landing two marlin, a dodo, YFT, and hooked and lost another dodo and marlin
john landed 3 marlin a dodo, and a YFT
warren landed one stripey...2 dodos, and managed to long distance relase more marlin than i had seen to that date!

day 3: lackluster- except for the WFO bonita bite- warren's 6 yr old boy came with us- landing 3 nice 15lb bonito on a light jig stick.  we had a couple of big breezer dodos during that bite- both hooked- mine took me around the boat a bunch, and then dropped me while i waited for john to get his onboard.
Highlight of the day was watching warren land a nearly 20# skipjack on a light striper rod with 12lb test. took him about half hour.
