Not new to kayak fishing but new to doing it in the ocean. Had a few good days in monterey bay and interested in some crabbing from the kayak. Hoping to learn from the group especially when it comes to safety and locations to go depending on conditions. I've also done some scuba spear fishing but it seems to have gotten very slow in my usual spots, to many urchins not much kelp hoping the mobility of the kayak will make the odds better.
