I went fishing Friday.  Small local lake in Santa Rosa. I had my “new to me” free Striker 4 Garmin fish finder.  It works!  I usually pedal away from the ramp.  This time I happen to look at the graph. There were fish right there!  I started casting and bam!   I did well.  What sucks is people coming and going saw me and orbited around me. Haha.   I even got to use my modified net for the first time.  It was awesome.

Damn. The mountain behind me is glowing red.  Fire trucks are screaming.

Here is my net.   Be safe Napa and East Santa Rosa.

Let’s talk fishing and other fun stuff.

Are you sure your fish finder wasn't on demo mode and you just got lucky? :smt006
Glad you caught.  Basic rule...no pics, didn't happen... :smt005 :smt002
“I’m going fishing.”  They said, “we will go with you.”

Spring Lake?
That’s the first place I ever launched a kayak in. 2004?
Used to love catching blue Gill in there. Never got lucky enough to get one of the bigger bass that’s in there.
Dig that net!!!

And be safe.

Damn. Be safe. As of now a few houses across from Maria Carrillo burned, a few houses in Mountainhawk area, a few in the Las Alamos area, and a few in the Oakmont area.
