I haven’t done much fishing since late spring/early summer, other than a trip to Butt Valley Res. I’m usually archery hunting this time of year, but with my happy hunting grounds on fire figured it was time to hit the water. Besides we just picked up a new yak for the BIL and he was giddy to get out hit the water. So we headed out Sunday evening for a couple hours. Fishing wasn’t great, as expected with the busy waters, but I did manage to land 8 bass. Nothing big, but was great to get back after it.
Here’s a few pics.

"bull riding came about when some redneck stated, "hold my beer and watch this!"

Have you tried hunting around Burris Creek or Grizzly flat area? There used to be hogs there, and I believe they allow archery and shotguns only.

Yes. I have seen hogs. It has been getting hunted pretty hard. I did take a buck there year before last. 167 yards with my slug gun.
