What’s up everyone. My names Andrew Engel.  I’m a fly fishing guide at pyramid lake, but recently have been getting into fishing more conventional gear. Happy to be apart of the community here! I just bought an old town top water PDL and would love to get connected with some people that kayak fish in the Bay Area. I live in Reno, but grew up rock fishing and fishing the surf in central/SoCal. I’d really love to be able to make some trips down to the bay and fish halibut, salmon, and rockfish. Pretty green at it all though.

. This is my first kayak, and this seems like something that will be pretty addiction and hurtful to my wallet haha. Either way, I’ll be absorbing as much info from this forum as possible!

Hi Andrew,

I just got a OT topwater too, and love it.  I've fished a few opening days at Pyramid.  They have some monsters up there.
