I read this yesterday, and was surprised to hear the ninth circuit court would do this, they are not known for being friendly to gun owners.  I am not going to be surprised to see if Baccera takes it to the full court or appeals to SCOTUS.

Maybe the 9th circuit has been spanked enough times by the supremes that it's finally having an effect. Doubtful, but not impossible...

Thank Trump.

You can thank trump for making you a felon by banning bump stocks too!

dudes getting a little close to the end of a loaded rifle there lol
Thumb hooked through a belt loop works as good as the bump stock though;

Also works off the shoulder too;

I learned a long time ago at Uncle Sam's expense that Auto means carbon on everything, and PITA to clean.  Some people like Bump's, myself I never saw the use for them.  In theater, I found Semi will get the job done just fine.

They are just a novelty item really. I never had an interest in them, and neither of the rifle ranges I shoot at ever even allowed them to begin with.

The US military figured out a long time ago that three round bursts were best for accuracy, firepower, and ammunition conservation. And at today's prices, who can afford 800 rpm anyway?

The 3 round is going away, seems the interest is to go back to full auto, why?  Who the frack knows.

Atleast California got a weeks worth of mag purchases. I still can't believe that happened. Maybe the magnitude of merchandise shipped to the state will make them think twice about mandatory vaccinations. So sad to see such an amazing state go to shit.

Well I guess 3 round was a compromise, so if other parts of the equation changed then the optimum solution changes. Modern technology has probably lightened the rest of the loadout so more ammo can be carried, more training can increase accuracy with full auto, etc. But yeah, who knows?

BeernFish, read the SCOTUS case from 1905: Jacobson vs Mass.  This sets the standard for public health law and vaccinations.
