James - just so you know - there will be an adventure race going on there this weekend. There will be lot's of boat and kayak traffic all day.

I don't remember seeing them on the water last year in the morning. Maybe they start on their bikes. Don't forget, launching by the green pier won't be crowded. I'm gonna bring my rod so I can take a fishing break while surfing. The one that got away at the derby is still driving me crazy. My new leaders are already tied. We'll be at mushroom rock.
