My plans were to go to Timber Cove tomorrow, troll for salmon out to 80 or 100 feet of water and look for lingcod or rockfish before trolling for salmon back home again. It’s a 2 hour drive for me and I don’t get moving super early so I don’t expect to be there before 7. Camo pattern OK4.7 orange PFD. I’ll make a radio call on 69 when I’m on the water. Maybe I’ll see you out there or share some info if either of us have it. Good luck.

This is also my plan on Saturday. I plan on being there around 6:00. picking up my salmon limit by 10:00  :smt001 and then hitting the rock fish. I'll be on 69 in a camo outback.

I like your confidence, have you caught salmon at timber before? I'm sure it's been done, and salmon lings and RF @ TC would be an impressive stringer.

Here's hoping the red tide isn't there. Thursday I drove part of one north and the water was close to chocolate. That color is OK for salmon but tougher to fish rock cod in. Sometimes red tide follows. Best of luck. Nice weather for launch/landing.

Yeah I have run into some guys at some of the coves and hearing those rumors too. Met some guys going trolling and they disappeared on the horizon. I haven't seen any bird/bait action in close but that doesn't mean it's not happening out there somewhere.

FeoPronk and I saw some guys on a pb trolling for salmon up near TC a few weeks ago. As Will said though, they went out and nowhere to be seen. Wonder if the action is much deeper around there.
