Best wheel clip for Hobie cart

I’ve been using the Hobie Trax Cart for more than 6 months now and I love it. The only bummer is that there are two little clips, one on each side, that hold the wheels in place, and those clips have gotten loose. See picture below. They come off if the wheels are not there, and today I finally lost one.

Does anyone know what’s the name of this part and where to get it online? Also, I was thinking about using a clevis pin instead, or something that wouldn’t come off again. Does anyone have a suggestion?

I just found out they sell a 10 pack of stainless steel pins at Home Depot for about $27. They call them “Hitch pin clip”.
Other places call them “retainer clips”. So many names for the same thing...

Ok, so it seems like there’s a stainless steel quick release pin that wouldn’t come off easily (it doesn’t loose tension like the cotter pin).
And it’s easier to apply.
$5 each

Depending on the size you need.  Home depot sells hitch pins for around .70 each.

You can get those at Home Depot as well in various sizes.

I recommend finding some made of 316 Stainless Steel
The higher quality will pay for itself in the long run
