harvey @ 9 a.m. calm, no wind, not much swell at all.  fishing very slow.

COULD SEE FISH FOLLOWING MY BAIT ALL OVER BUT NO TAKERS EVEN W/ SQUID!!

counted 6 private boaters & a party boat w/ over 50 people on deck, don't know why it was so slow.  just caught small scraps & not even that many of them.  oh well. what can you do.

What a bummer. Will be fishing Cambria on 7/30, probably heading north out of Leffingwell. Let me know if you want to hook up. BTW, what happened to Littoral?

Ouch!  I'm supposed to go out on the 30th with a pal of mine.  I think I'll head further north then!! (Piedras Blancas)  We'll be launching @ the lone cypress pullout if anybody wants to join us!

Been working out of town for about a month, just got back last night.

I'm in town till the 6th - Who's ready to fish?

Have the MPA's been activated?

Regarding the MPA's I called DFG & the gal who answered the phone said "probably not before October, we haven't received info yet".  sounds good to me, you can call them if you want.

good luck to all of you, hope the weather stays calm, thick fog right now-means no wind.

Yes San Simeon on Saturday. Was going to target halis for the cioppino I am making that night. PM me if you want to hookup. My sprint service is really bad in Cambria so I may not get it.
