Ordered my first fishing kayak (2020 Hobie outback). Those new Hobies really know how to burn a hole in your wallet, so looking to buy used but functional gear to get me out on the water:
- PFD (XL) (ideally would like bright yello/orange fluorescent types)
- immersion gear
- Fish finder and transducer
- Battery and drybox
- Cart/wheels for transport
- Geartrac/Hrail mounts
- Net/Gaf/Kage
- Catch bag
- Pool floaties
- Orange safety flag
- Other useful odds and ends

If you're looking to dump gear to upgrade, or just have too much stuff, let me know. Located in Pacifica CA

I have a bike safety flag you can repurpose for yak usage.

I found a hunter orange handkerchief 10"x20" at Sportsman's warehouse . Attached it to a pole. Works great.

I would get on the water with your safety gear a few times then decide on what other accessories and mounting locations you like best.  Will save you from buying stuff that at the time seemed necessary, but not so much once you bought it.

Not sure if REI still has the sale going on, but they have/had the NRS 3mm farmer john wetsuit on sale for $75, which is normally $150.
