Anyone Playing COD: Warzone?

I haven't played any FPS since the first COD Modern Warfare, but being on lock down and watching my son play Fortnite got me to download the free COD Warzone game. I just DL'ed it last night and am going through the practice runs to get my old-school mouse and keyboard set-up before I go get slaughtered by a 7 year old in the real game later.

Looks pretty sweet so far. The few maps I've seen are pretty cool.

Anyway, was just wondering if anyone else has been playing.

Yeah, it's pretty frustrating. You wait for like 3-5 minutes in the lobby to find a game, play a "warm-up match" for a minute or two, then start the match - which takes a good minute or two to load and for you to deploy. Then you parachute down to the map.

What sucks is when you drop down and get killed within a few seconds of landing. You then have to go to the Gulag for a 1 on 1 battle for the right to re-enter the match. You don't have any "re-spawns".

The whole Gulag process can take 4-5 minutes. If you win you get to drop back into the map for one more life. If you lose you're done and you have to go back to the lobby to start the whole process over and you just went through about 10 minutes of bullshit for 45 seconds of game play.

I've started parachuting into obscure areas of the map just to explore more, but then you're constantly trying to outrun the ever growing gas-cloud.

I'm a lot better now and this shit is hella fun. You're right. For trios and quads you need a good squad with mics.

I've got Warzone, but my recent addiction is Escape From Tarkov.. I may have been racking up >750 Hours on the game in the Pandemic... Lord.

It's way more frustrating and rage inducing than Warzone lol. I don't recommend it.  But it is Just so damn fun.

I'll look that one up. Warzone has helped save me from going crazy during lock-down.
