Ok folks, more interesting news for Kiet. Kiet and I are heading down to Stanford Medical Facility for a 4 day visit
Not sure at this moment what types of test and evaluations he will go thru….starting on Monday 6/5, to Thursday 6/8.  Up to this point I have the opinion there will be 10 miles of red tape and 5000 hoops Kiet will have to jump thru, to become eligible for a lung transplant.
But…Kiet is committed…100% onboard. I will check back in after the 4 day visit with another report
Not sure if Kiet will be up for it, but it might be nice for you friends to visit…maybe for dinner   Give me a call or text and if possible, we can make a plan for dinner. Ron Perry. 925-577-7336.
    Thanks!!!! For his support!

I've seen a few encouraging posts by/with Kiet lately.  Thanks so much for helping him out and for keeping us updated, Ron.  Good to see you recently at Mad River Brews too.

Ok…here is where Kiet stands as of now. He will travel back to Stanford this Tuesday, 6/12 for more tests. He will be assisted by his long time friend and nurse, Ryan.
Ryan has volunteered to be Kiet’s secondary caregiver, I will be the primary….if indeed Kiet receives a transplant. We will know more after this visit, the doctors claim an answer, either yes or no, will be forthcoming quickly.
Last weeks 4 day hospital visit was stressful….but offset by visits from all the usual suspects…two nights of great food and merrymaking at our rental house. Thanks to the 20 people who helped Kiet relieve his stressful situation
I will report back soon, Ron

Ron, it was great to see you last week.  Thank you for all that you are doing to help Kiet.

Hopefully this week's visit is less stressful on him.
If you ain't first, you're last.
