900 is top end of his budget. Have a line on a couple, but they are a long drive for us. Lol.
new they are 1400. Folks have to realize that asking 1200 for a slightly used 1400 dollar kayak is a bit crazy. They are worth the 1400 because they have a lifetime warranty. The second owner does not get the warranty. So it is hard to spend 1200 with no warranty, when one could just pony up 200 more and get the warranty. Lol.

Lol, just wait till he tries to buy a used Hobie and sees how many people ask for near full price, including tax.  Or more than retail if it has any accessories :smt044 

Good luck, you can usually find a T13 for the price he wants, but you have to jump on the sales immediately.  Well priced ones usually sell in less than 10 minutes after they are posted here or CL.
