Have been a casual fisherman since a kid, only going out about 2 or 3 times a year (annual trip to Baja and party boats). Gave up the race car a couple of years ago to get more days on the water. Mostly been going out with buddies on their boats, and a few trips a year on party boats out of Emeryville.

I live in Sac so figure I need to be able to stop fishing from shore and eventually build up to head to other spots I go with powered boats (Tomales, ARW, Bodega). Obviously launch closures affecting ability to go out as well.

Brothers in San Diego have been kayaking for years and so figure it's time. Let's see how this goes.

Hi Ish,

Welcome to NCKA, I sold the race bike a few years ago and although Kayak fishing isn't quite as exciting I've been having a great time, and I'm sure you will too.
