Does anyone listen to the radio anymore, lol?

Lately, I discovered KCSM 91.1 FM.  Commercial free, public and listener funded, jazz music 24/7. You can also stream   https://kcsm.org/jazz91/listen.php

Interesting, I used to not understand and hate jazz.  Now, I still don't understand it but I can't get enough. I especially like music from the hard bop era.

I enjoy listening though some decent headphones. I used to have top quality sound gear back in the day; ESS AMT1B speakers with the Heil Air Motion Transformers, Technics SL1300MKII direct drive turntable, Sansui TU-9900 tuner, Pioneer CT-1000 cassette deck, stuff like that.  I bought it all while stationed in Japan, but my wife doesn't appreciate the volume so headphones and laptop it is.

I'm listening to my wife 24 hours a day!  I'm waiting for a parole.  I need to get on the water.
^^^ this ^^^ i told my wife to leave me alone, lemme tell you, that will wipe out your points two centuries back.
I've started looking forward to walking the trash out to the can. It's a precious minute and a half of alone time.

Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

My wife seems to sometimes forget that I have an internet connection, and narrates the web for me while she browses. Made the mistake of telling her I honestly didn't care what some stupid person did or said on the internet. On the bright side I think I reversed global warming, welcome to the next ice age.

While I wait for the thaw, I'm listening to the Modern Art album by Art Farmer, with Bill Evans on piano.
