Want to build a PVC stand/bunk for Hobie Tandem Island

I've been brainstorming on how to build a PVC storage stand for my TI. I just saw a video in which a guy makes a stand for his Pro Angler, and he stressed that you don't want the PVC rails to be supported in the middle in order to allow them to flex with the shape of the boat in order to provide support throughout the hull.

Has anyone made one of these? Any thoughts or suggestions?

He is right. I just built a cart and didn't support the middle too. Works great.

They have a parts list.  Really simple project, great results.  I've got two kayaks and a canoe on it.
